Author of screenplays of 18 animated and animated-documentary films, Designer-illustrator of 43 books in Tbilisi, Moscow and Kiev was born on February 25, 1943. He graduated Moscow Film Directors High School in 1975 - 77 and Tbilisi Art Academy, Faculty of book illustration in 1966 – 71. Worked at Georgian animated film studio as film designer from 1971 – 1979. From 1979 works at Georgian animated film studio as director and film maker.
